Aix-en-Provence is one of my favourite places in the world.
With its wonderful musty-yellow-washed walls, fruit stands and markets, fountains and buzzing squares, it provides the perfect escape from my uni routine (and my recent exams!).
We spent our short stay wandering through Aix’s winding streets, grazing on light lunches in the sun before heading back to lay by the pool (the best kind of days).
My pink leather skirt is an old one from Topshop which I’m pretty sure I’ve blogged about before – but if you’re interested they have a denim one in this season of a similar colour –> shop it here!! Printed t-shirt (which says ‘Coastal Cruisin’ on it – perfect for all you coastal cruisers!!!) is exclusive to Bloomingdale’s – but the Kooples do something rlly similar which I also love.
Sunglasses from Le Specs!! I’ve always loved a cat-eye so decided to indulge…
In the evening we’d head back into town again for dinner and to soak up some more of the Provençal atmosphere (i.e. the perfect opportunity for me to sport my new favourite summer number: my new gingham pom pom dress!)
I absolutely love this dress – it is so summery and silly and I wish I could wear it every day. It’s by Sundress– but you can pick it up on revolve in different colours. Bought mine at ONDA in St. Mawes in Cornwall 🙂
But my earrings – from Fuzzy London – go so perfectly and just complete the happy fluffy look. Fuzzy is a fab new jewellery company celebrating whacky colours and craft. Claire uses pom-poms and tassels for her hand-made products which include earrings, rings, headbands and other accessories! They’re great for spicing up your summer looks. Shop them here!!
Look at my fuchsia earrings! They are so happy!!!!
And the ring!! A little ball of pink joy!!!
I hope u enjoy getting pom-pom-ed this summer. Pom poms do seem to be everywhere…
Peace and love as always,
