It seems as if the sporty chic trend that peaked in 2016 has paved the way for the sock boot, one of the latest shoe crazes. And I love them. With celebs such as Kim K, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin being amongst the first to work the look – they’ve hit highstreet stores with a bang in various materials. So I felt it was time for me to share my favourite picks of these funky ankle-gripping friends.
These burgundy (maroon?? I never know) booties were found at the mothership (i.e. Zara) alongside a ton of other models. Considering that the kitten heel trend is ALSO back with a vengeance you’d be killing two birds with one stone with this pair – and your feet wouldn’t hurt too much at the end of the day. My faves from Topshop include a suedette pair in khaki or black (I kinda love the khaki because everyone wears black boots these days), and a higher pair in khaki.

The pair pictured below were an absolute bargain from LK Bennett – reduced from £295 to £20. I. Know. They are my latest obsession and basically kick started my sock boot craze. I am a sucker for bargains.
They’re comfy, they go with everything – an asset to any wardrobe.
